Today, groundbreaking artist, Destroy Lonely, releases his highly anticipated sophomore album, LOVE LASTS FOREVER. The 21-track offering marks a pivotal moment in the Atlanta native's career, highlighting his growth as both an artist and storyteller. The album features production from Lil 88, Wheezy, KP Beatz, Clayco, CXDY and more, alongside collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert and Opium labelmate, Ken Carson. Additionally, fans can also look forward to an exclusive version of the track “BANGAZ,” with Don Toliver, available only on the physical album HERE. With its innovative, genre-defying sound, LOVE LASTS FOREVER showcases his evolution , reflecting on the project, Lonely shared, “Hope y’all love this as much as we do, took about a year to get right.” Listen to LOVE LASTS FOREVER via Opium/Interscope Records HERE.

Throughout 2024, Lonely has been building anticipation for this release, captivating fans with exclusive sneak peeks and teasing clips across his social media channels. Earlier this summer, he released the metaphorical “LUV 4 YA” which starts with a smooth, laid-back yet powerful groove, and transforms into a high-energy anthem exploring love and materialism over slick drums and hypnotic riffs. In the stunning visual directed by 91 Rules, the triumphant track finds the Atlanta native navigating his way out of an alternate reality. As he seeks an exit by digging through the surreal void, the world schemes to trap him in limbo, testing his determination. Watch HERE. Today, he also shares the video for “DOUBT IT” – also directed by 91 Rules, “DOUBT IT” delivers a fast-paced, oil-soaked frenzy. Lonely and his crew create a stunning post-apocalyptic mirage, where meticulous set design, precise camera work to craft a film that's as beautifully simple as it is strikingly visual. It opens with Lonely emerging from the smoke, performing from the pit as dawn breaks. As the day progresses into blazing orange daylight, the tar pit transforms into a star—a DIY concert like never before. Watch the video HERE.

In 2023, Destroy Lonely saw unparalleled success and critical acclaim with the release of his debut album If Looks Could Kill, his career soared to new heights. Within just 24 hours of its release, the album climbed to No. 1 on Apple Music. On Spotify, it garnered nearly 10 million streams, marking his biggest streaming day ever, while also securing a spot in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Prior to If Looks Could Kill, Lonely generated significant momentum with the release of his mixtape NO STYLIST, featuring the title track "NOSTYLIST," which has since been certified Gold by the RIAA. This project not only garnered critical acclaim but also earned him placements on numerous "Artist to Watch" lists for 2023, including Rolling Stone, Complex, Billboard, Pigeons andamp; Planes, Alt Press, and more.

Beyond music Lonely has made significant strides by teaming up with designer, Matthew Williams (formerly of Givenchy) to curate an exclusive merch collection, graced two iconic Marc Jacobs campaigns, starred in a Bose campaign, and even lunched his own limited edition Vitamin Water flavors, called “Look Killa Juice.”  His bold ventures across multiple creative domains not only showcased his versatility but also cemented his status as a true innovator. This year, the Opium artist has continued to stay active. He collaborated with producer, Southside and label-mate Ken Carson on “President,” and joined forces with Atlanta's own, Quavo on “Potato Loaded.” He kicked off the summer with an electrifying performance at Coachella and took the stage alongside his Opium labelmates in Chicago for an iconic performance at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash. This summer, alongside the release of LOVE LASTS FOREVER, Lonely is set to appear at the annual cultural event known for its fusion of cutting-edge fashion, music, and art, ComplexCon.
