Sean “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, one of the world’s top digital-forward entrepreneurs, is thrilled to announce the 6th annual “Thankmas” fundraising event, taking place on Fri., December 6, 2024. The event will be held live on stage at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles and will also be live streamed via creator-first fundraising platform Tiltify. Previous participants include Jack Black, Markiplier, and Bella Poarch and this year’s full lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.

Proceeds raised for this year’s “Thankmas” will support two charities: Crisis Text Line (US) and Samaritans (UK), both of which provide crisis hotlines for individuals facing mental health challenges, especially during difficult times.

“Anyone who follows my channel -- or even in passing --  knows I talk a LOT about mental health awareness and self care. Having support and helping provide it is something very important to me, so Samaritans and Crisis Text Line felt like the perfect fit for Thankmas this year,” shares Jacksepticeye.

The livestream will feature engaging content, celebrity interactions, and unique incentives for viewers to participate. With more than 55 million followers across social media, Jacksepticeye is passionate about leveraging his platform for positive change and is excited to help raise crucial funds for mental health support.

Julie Bentley, CEO of Samaritans, expressed gratitude for being selected as one of the beneficiaries of “Thankmas” 2024, stating, “To be chosen as one of only two charities worldwide that will benefit from Thankmas 2024 is incredibly humbling. Our 23,000 wonderful volunteers help people they’ll never meet through their darkest times, answering a call for help to our listening service every ten seconds. It is fitting that they, in turn, will be supported by the kindness of strangers from all over the world.”

Additionally, Dena Trujillo, CEO of Crisis Text Line, emphasized the importance of providing help to those in need: “Supporting mental health isn't just an act of kindness—it’s a powerful way to change and save lives. Every donation provides critical mental health support and resources for those who are struggling. Thank you, Sean, for your unwavering commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.”

This year's “Thankmas” promises to be a memorable and impactful event, bringing together a global community to support those in crisis and make a real difference in the lives of many. Tickets to this year’s event will go on sale at 10 AM PT on Tues., Oct. 15th at thankmas.tiltify.com. "Thankmas" is co-produced by real good touring. For more information, visit thankmas.tiltify.com.
