A fresh take on Kassidy’s solo version of “Will I Ever Love Again,” this release still holds all the emotional resonance that made the original a standout track on Kassidy’s debut release with Universal Music Canada, Echoes of Myself – Volume 1.
“I wrote “Will I Ever Love Again” after a major breakup,” says Kassidy. “It talks about how in my relationship both of us weren’t perfect and there’s a question that asks, ‘Am I ready to love again or will I ever love the same way?’ I feel like a lot of people can relate to it.”
After hearing the original, Loud was excited to jump on the track, beginning a collaboration and friendship between the two artists. Kassidy was happy to welcome this “great, humble, down to earth human with big talent” to the track.
Loud is also featured in the “Will I Ever Love Again” music video, directed by Andy Ziel. It shows the duo linking up in the studio, and features cameos from JUNO winning and GRAMMY Award-nominated duo Banx andamp; Ranx, main collaborators of Kassidy.
“The music video we shot was a great way to show the behind the scenes on working on this collab with Loud and gives the viewers something to watch as they listen to the new remix,” says Kassidy.

Kassidy is currently on his 2025 Winter Tour, which includes support for Jamie Fine. Their sold-out show at Bronson Centre in Ottawa saw "Will I Ever Love Again” become a crowd favourite sing-along. Other recent shows include support for Pelch, and a stop at SXSW.
In addition to live performance, streaming momentum continues to grow. His recent collaboration with Thierry Von Der Warth, “Along The Way,” released with Spinnin’ Records has surpassed 2.5 million global streams.
