Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams have made a triumphant return with their fourth album All This Time out now via Royal Potato Family. This ten track collection serves as a poignant celebration of their enduring love and nearly 40 years of marriage, earning them the endearing title of the "First Couple of Americana" (Mojo). Emerging out of a difficult time that ultimately strengthened their bond, the record is a testament to the resilience of love through their journey as partners and professional musicians - their “most intimate album to date” (Relix). “All This Time feels more intuitive to me than the earlier records, less experimental, evidence that we’ve grown more aware of who we are and what we have to offer” says Campbell.
What the pair offer is an intensely romantic album creatively melding elements of folk, blues, and country, decorated with Campbell’s inspired guitar work, William’s alternately fierce and velvet-toned vocals, and tasteful accompaniment featuring pedal steel, organ, mandolin and more. Associated Press called the album “a rousing and romantic testament to the power of love both forever and fleeting.” Read the full review here.
The album was produced by Campbell with contributions from Grammy-winner Justin Guip (Levon Helm, David Bromberg) who recorded and mixed the album and contributed percussion. Other musicians on the record include Little Feat legend Bill Payne on piano and organ, new band member Brandon Morrison on bass and vocals, and a special appearance by Levon Helm on drums, recorded shortly before his passing.

Campbell and Williams and have previewed the record with three advance tracks: “Ride With Me,” a breezy, metaphoric portrayal of a budding relationship, “The Way You Make Me Feel,” a playful, twangy Johnny and June Cash-inspired celebration of courtship, and “Desert Island Dreams,” a dazzling ode to escapism, which spotlights Williams’ vocal prowess and Campbell’s Jeff Beck-flavored guitar riffs. Title track “All This Time” (out now) stands as the album’s overarching theme - an uplifting, lively rock song combining mandolin, chiming
electric guitar and bright organ lines, conveying the duo’s endless commitment to one another. “All this time / I’m gonna cherish every breath…I’ll love you for all this time,” Campbell and Williams sing in harmony.
All This Time follows Larry Campbell andamp; Teresa Williams (2015), Contraband Love (2017), and Live at Levon’s (2023). While the duo originally made their marks separately - Campbell as an indispensable multi-instrumentalist with Bob Dylan, kd lang, Sheryl Crow, Keith Richards, Emmylou Harris and others, and Williams as a stage actor in productions like Keep On the Sunny Side, where she portrayed Sara Carter and Always…Patsy Cline - their performing partnership was molded while recording and touring with Levon Helm, iconic drummer and voice of The Band. This year, Campbell also recently reunited with Tracy Chapman for the surprise Grammys performance. From Campbell joining in on the music with Williams’ family under the tree where they were married, to Williams belting bluegrass songs on the bus with Campbell and the rest of Bob Dylan’s band as they traveled between gigs, the more the couple played together, the deeper their relationship grew.
Throughout 2024, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams will perform across North America, making stops in New York, Woodstock, Boston, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta and more. Campbell andamp; Williams will also be joining forces with musical friends old and new to present their inaugural July Jam at Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY - a one-day festival and not-to-be-missed celebration of some of the best performers in Americana music in a picture-perfect Hudson Valley setting.
