On September 21st, via an “exclusive announcement” through Dan “Steiny” Steinberg and W. Luke Pierce’s seminal podcast, Promoter 101, and followed today by numerous other outlets, a new, and somewhat unique agency was formed by a coalition of former WME, Paradigm, Madison House and CAA agents, known as MINT Talent Group.

Following last month’s announcement of TBA Agency, an agency formed by former Paradigm agents, MINT Talent Group is the second in what we expect to be a slew of new agencies, management companies, record labels, publishing companies and more forming from the inevitable deconsolidation of the music industry, a de-construction if you will, that has been long overdue. At the helm of MINT Talent group are CJ Strock, formerly of WME, Patrick McAuliff and Phil Eganthal, both formerly of Paradigm. Also on board in the initial announcement are agents Mary Allen and Cassie Siegel, formerly of Madison House Talent, Ryan Owens and Michael Morris, formerly of Paradigm, Logan Handelsman of CAA and Peter Wiederlight of WME.

MINT Talent Group is literally coming out swinging with a powerhouse roster that includes a veritable who’s who in modern music across multiple genres. Just a few of the more than 120 artists initially announced include Art Garfunkel, Brian McKnight, Mavis Staples, Rising Appalachia, Steel Pulse, Cas Haley, Stick Figure, The Weepies, Erasure, The Orb, CloZee, John Mayall, Joe Ely, Alejandro Escovedo, Dumpstafunk, Charlie Musselwhite, Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Bros. and more.

According to their website, MINT  “exists to improve lives with an artist-centric model that  focuses on both artist development and the nurture of  long term careers.  The family at MTG features the best emerging talent in  the  world  alongside  musical  icons,  contemporary  leaders,  Rock andamp; Roll  Hall  of  Fame  inductees  and  multiple GRAMMY® winners.” More information, including their complete roster, can be found at www.MintTalentGroup.com
