Big Machine Label Group today announces Nashville’s downtown will transform this weekend into Petty Country, USA to honor the lasting legacy of Tom Petty and the historic release of Petty Country: A Country Celebration of Tom Petty (out Friday, June 21). Beginning at midnight on June 21 through Sunday, June 23, dozens of bars and honky tonks around Broadway will host hour-long “Petty Power Hours,” give away exclusive merchandise and more.

The activation will kick off at midnight on June 21 as the dozens of participating bars collectively play Petty’s classic hit “American Girl” at as the clock strikes 12. Participating bars include Rippy’s, Ole Red, Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, Bootleggers, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, Tin Roof Broadway, Honky Tonk Central, Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Tequila Cowboy, Acme Feed andamp; Seed, Whiskey River Saloon, DraftKings Sports andamp; Social Nashville, Big Machine Distillery, Whiskey Bent Saloon, Tootsies Orchid Lounge, Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse, WannaB’s Karaoke Bar, Lucky Bastard Saloon and more.
