Last night Icon Entertainment andamp; Hospitality celebrated the grand opening of their latest venture Show Pony. No one was safe from the fun during the unforgettable evening that included live music, interactive games, an appearance from Mayor Freddie O’Connell and a burlesque performance from the Nashville Cabaret. Show Pony is now open for business at 121 3rd Avenue S., and is like nothing you can find in Nashville today!

During the celebration Icon Entertainment andamp; Hospitality Founder and CEO Bill Miller took the stage to address the packed room, “Come here and have the time of your life! We’re going to do something here that nobody has ever done in Nashville.” Miller, who has now opened 10 of Nashville’s premier venues, paid tribute to the hard-working staff and brought his family on stage to express his gratitude.

Later in the evening Mayor O’Connell shared “BIll and his wife create incredible experiences like the Johnny Cash Museum, House of Cards, Schulman’s, Nudie’s Honky Tonk and now Show Pony in Nashville! Thanks for helping people celebrate what makes Music City great.”  In addition to the Mayor, State Representative Aftyn Behn, who represents downtown Nashville and Council Member Jacob Kupin were also in attendance.

Attendees got an exclusive first look at Show Pony’s eclectic menu and sipped on the bar’s signature cocktails including the Bearded Lady, a gin and aperol infused drink and Black Velvet Lemonade, a refreshing cocktail with Jack Daniels triple sec and lemon juice and sprite. Small bites showcased samplings from the menu that includes corn dogs, sliders, mexican street corn and more. Miller proved that when it comes to food, size matters—showcasing giant corn dogs and drumsticks that make other restaurants look like they’re serving snack-sized versions!

The unique and wild ride that is Show Pony saw guests enjoying some friendly competition – racing ‘horses,’ hula hooping and more! Attendees were treated to a taste of Nashville Cabaret’s burlesque performance that will be a mainstay at Show Pony come March.

Show Pony is located at 121 3rd Ave South and is open seven days a week beginning at 11:00 a.m. CT. The new venture offers a delicious menu filled with classic carnival-style delights like funnel cakes, corn dogs, jumbo pretzels and so much more! Plus, a drink menu filled with your go-to usuals and bold, new favorites and the cheapest beer on Broadway $5 domestic beers all day, everyday!
