Live Nation is set to launch its first live music venue in Southeast Asia, in partnership with Lendlease Global Commercial REIT, supported by Singapore Tourism Board. Unlike any other venue in the region, this 3,000-capacity, state-of-the-art music hall will feature multiple rooms and stages – set up to host both developing and established international touring acts as well as local artists.

The venue will quickly become an asset to the community with a café and bar that can be utilized as a smaller event space, transforming the site into a dynamic hub for live entertainment. Live Nation will leverage its unparalleled global experience to operate the venue at the highest standards, creating significant local employment opportunities and contributing to Singapore’s economic growth.

“Live Nation is pleased to expand the live music market in Singapore with the new venue.” said Greg Gillin, Senior Vice President of Venue Development, Live Nation Asia.

Local audiences will benefit from access to new and emerging live music and cultural activities hosted within the distinctive venue performance spaces, as well as meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, and community events.

Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive, Experience Development Group, Singapore Tourism Board said “It is exciting to see Live Nation and LREIT’s commitment to developing the Grange Road event space as Asia’s first flagship entertainment venue along the iconic Orchard Road. This initiative will contribute significantly to the ongoing rejuvenation of Orchard Road, expand the lifestyle offerings in the precinct and boost its attractiveness to locals and visitors. By working closely with our industry partners, we are cementing Orchard Road’s position as a must-visit lifestyle destination, while affirming Singapore’s reputation as the region’s live entertainment capital.”

Kelvin Chow, Chief Executive Officer, Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management Pte Ltd, said: “The development of Grange Road into a vibrant day-and-night event space will further strengthen LREIT’s presence in the Somerset area. This is also a great opportunity for us to play a part in Orchard Road’s rejuvenation by injecting a live entertainment venue in a world class shopping street. We are excited to see our partnership with Live Nation and STB come to fruition when the multi-functional event space is completed.”
