The Momentary’s Live On The Green Concert Series Kicks Off With Electric Jon Batiste Performance

Last night, multi-Grammy and Academy Award-winner Jon Batiste, kicked off the Momentary’s Live on the Green summer music seriesThe Momentary, Bentonville’s newest cultural hub, has become a coveted performance destination for Grammy winners and rising artists across all genres. The concert included a powerful performance of “Oh When the Saints,” a beautiful arrangement of “You Are My Sunshine,” and a surprise performance of “Summertime” by Louis Armstrong with 2X Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel. The evening concluded with an electric encore that Batiste and his band performed as they walked through the crowd, giving the Momentary’s attendees an unforgettable experience.

Live on the Green 2024, which takes place on the Momentary’s sprawling outdoor lawn, will also host performances by Portugal. The Man (July 6), Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (July 14), Lake Street Dive (July 17), Slash (August 16), deadmau5 (August 24), Gary Clark Jr. (September 7), Kaskade (September 27), and a special solo performance from 12-time Grammy Award-winner John Legend (June 1). This spring, the Momentary will also host FreshGrass|Bentonville, which will include performances by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Trampled by Turtles, Molly Tuttle andamp; Golden Highway, Valerie June, and more. The festival is set for May 17-18.
