"Amos’ Southend is Charlotte’s oldest and most accomplished live entertainment venue. A two story venue with a tiered mezzanine area there is not a bad view in the house. Established in 1990, Amos’ has had a who’s who in music perform on its stages. Ranging from John Legend, Hootie and the Blowfish, John Mayer, Chris Stapleton, Firehouse, Cheryl Crow, to the Beastie Boys, to Snoop Dogg. With a capacity around 700 people Amos’ gives concert goers opportunity to see some the hottest rising stars in an intimate comfortable setting. Amos’ is also home some of Charlotte’s favorite local bands and proudly promotes the local music scene."
