World-famous guitarist and guitar instructor Tom Hess has released an online resource sharing secrets to guitar speed for the guitar playing community to help them play faster and cleaner than ever.
Hess says: "You don't need to play an as fast as possible to make it sound great. Yes, playing with speed is cool, but there are many more creative options available to help you play killer sounding licks without needing to play fast."
Hess goes on to explain each of his playing approaches in detail. He states: "Although you wouldn't assume so, playing guitar fast and clean is more about efficiency than raw speed. The more efficiently you move, the more benefits you get from your efforts."
Hess explains this in the video demonstration of his resource. In his demonstration, he shows one of his students how to apply the guitar playing secrets of his resource.
Hess's online resource about lead guitar speed can be found on his website along with various other instructional materials for guitarists. Tom Hess is a touring guitarist, recording artist and a former member of the band Rhapsody of Fire from 2010 until 2013.
