JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our growing team in London.
Reporting to Head of Labels andamp; Artists Solutions and Director of Artist Services, you will deliver complex work that really matters to our business as the role covers the whole life cycle of projects through lead identification, negotiation and commercially assessing every project.
Working alongside the AandR and Sales team, the Commercial Manager must demonstrate the ability to maintain schedules, organise cross-functional resources and provide commercial and process leadership across a broad range of deals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on complete lifecycle and development of deal execution process including on-time delivery of high-quality proposals aligned business profitability / risk profiles
- Provide high quality commercial information to key stakeholders to support, monitor and advise the wider AandR and Sales team
- Work with the AandR and Sales team to manage the PandL, budget and KPIs for all new andamp; existing business
- Drive sales revenue by creating efficiencies and removing roadblocks for the Sales team
- Support Sales, Finance and Legal in processing and closing opportunities
- Oversee the management of sales data and deals in Salesforce in liaison with the Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal teams
- Oversee the alignment of data between systems to enable full end-to-end operations and reporting
- Ensure SLA’s are achieved in order to guarantee accuracy and meet timeframes
- Regularly review commercial performance in order to improve financial certainty and maximise commercial success of projects
- Work with commercial operations team to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems and processes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a commercial role, ideally in media or the entertainment / music industry
- Commercial awareness, understanding and ability to make profit whilst retaining relationships and company values
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to understand the wider picture whilst devoting attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
- Proactive, diligent, able and willing to think ahead
- Process orientated
- Excellent attention to detail
