Nashville's Marathon Music Works is a coverted auto factory that, even though completely remodeled and built out to be a live music venue, still has the feeling of, well, a converted auto-factory. It's huge, it's cavernous, lots of bricks, concrete and metal. The music is a mix of just about anything that could fill the 1800 capacity room, be it boot stompin' country, hip-hop, metal, tribute bands, modern or alternative rock and a little bit of everything in between. They are able to do both seated and standing shows and operate often as a rental facility. Considering that this page is primarily for the do-it-yourself type musicians, you probably won't get booked into Marathon Music Works unless you can draw 1000+ people in Nashville. If you can draw that many people and you are still doing it yourself then by all means, you have 100% of our respect here. It's the end result we seek.
