Immersive entertainment specialists, Layered Reality, is creating a tribute to Elvis Presley featuring a concert experience with a life-sized digital Elvis.

The Elvis Evolution will thrill fans of the cultural icon using AI, holographic projection, augmented reality, live theatre and multi-sensory effects to create a fully immersive experience.

Authentic Brands Group, which owns Elvis Presley’s estate, has given Layered Reality access to thousands of personal photos and hours of home-video archive to create brand new AI Elvis performances.

Music, technology and storytelling will give guests a deeper insight into Presley’s life, showing his meteoric rise to fame and the cultural movement he catalysed in the 1950s and 1960s.

There will be an after-party Elvis-themed bar and restaurant on site at the first location in London, with live music, DJs and performances.

The London attraction opens this November, with other major cities to follow, including Las Vegas, Tokyo and Berlin.

“Elvis Evolution is a next generation tribute to the musical legend that is Elvis Presley. Elvis maintains superstar status globally and people around the world no longer want to sit there and passively receive entertainment – they want to be a part of it.” said the founder and CEO of Layered Reality, Andrew McGuinness.

“It’ll be a memory-making experience that will be a bucket list item for Elvis fans and admirers around the world; people can step into the world of Elvis, walk in his shoes and celebrate his extraordinary musical legacy.”

Layered Reality already has two experiences running in London: Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience and The Gunpowder Plot Immersive at Tower of London’s Tower Vaults.

It’s 60 years since Presley made his global debut, yet his fame endures. His Memphis home, Graceland, draws more than 600,000 visitors annually and is the second most-visited home in the United States behind the White House.
