Currents Management – the LA-based talent management firm – welcomes Emma Clarke as Talent Manager.
Clarke joins Currents after exiting The Gersh Agency earlier this year. Clarke started her career at A3 Artist Agency in 2019 and quickly ascended to Talent Agent in 2021, a role she maintained at The Gersh Agency. With over seven years of experience and a passion for working with talent, Clarke’s deep experience with top digital talent, her exposure to crossover in unscripted positions, her strategic vision and commitment to creativity in the entertainment world will help further extend Currents Management’s stellar footprint.
Clarke brings with her an all-encompassing roster of talent, including: one of Netflix’s Selling Sunset’s biggest it-girls, Chelsea Lazkani; one of the Internet’s favorite couples Joshua and Savannah Alexander; creator of San Francisco-based style blog For the Love and online personality Shannon Willardson; and interior stylist, and DIYer and founder of Avante Garde, Julia Sousa.
“I am thrilled and honored to join the team at Currents,” says Clarke. “The opportunity to join Currents reflects a milestone in my career. In my new position as talent manager, I will be able to leverage my skills, experience, and creative ideas to continue to expand Currents ever-growing roster. I am excited to work alongside talented colleagues, contribute new ideas, and play a role in driving Currents mission forward.”
“We're excited for Emma to join Currents, expanding our lifestyle, family, and DIY roster while also spearheading our unscripted television offering,” says Currents Co-Founder Cameron Ajdari. “Her true passion for her clients, her hands-on approach, and her grit and determination make her a strong cultural fit for Currents . We are confident that Emma is positioned to continue to grow into a leader at Currents and in the industry as a whole. The addition of Emma and her roster further positions Currents as a leader in family friendly, lifestyle, and podcast categories.”
Clarke’s addition comes as Currents Management celebrates its five-year anniversary. The company – helmed by husband-wife power couple Nilou andamp; Cameron Ajdari – has centered around a focus on brand strategy and building sustainable, long-term careers in the digital space and beyond. The company’s roster boasts top talent in comedy, family, cooking and lifestyle verticals.
